"Cancelling" is pathetically superficial.
Every little thing around you, that is not of the natural world, has had some influence by a dirty or dark character.
Are you going to stop using toilets or fridges, if the inventor turns out to have been a perv?
Are you going to stop eating packaged foods and stop using your cellphone, when you realize that all factories employ sexist pigs, child porn sharers, and drug dealers?
You CAN separate the artist from the art. Once the art leaves their hand, it becomes its own thing.
When you stop supporting a song, because the singer turns out to be a creep, you're forgetting that you're now also killing the work of the producers, musicians, and promoters that are supporting their families with the income from that job.
We all have secrets. We all play in the shadows. We all grow & change constantly throughout our lives. We make mistakes & we learn.
Stop reducing people to their flaws.
A person can live a clean & productive 36+ years, but then one day they don't have the strength to fight their urges, or their demons, or the pressures of the people around them, and the mob then rallies up to take them down; they chant for their destruction to hide the fear & guilt from their own issues & mistakes.
People can be better! People can do better!
No one is morally superior. Didn't Jesus say something about if you lust, then you have committed the sin of adultery? If you covet, then you have committed theft?
Do you want to be put on trial for all your fantasies or dark thoughts?
I choose to celebrate the goodness in all people.
I choose to see the opportunity in all people.
If you can't, then you are no better.
Break away from the lynch mobs & witch hunters! Think. Have empathy. Show forgiveness.
Let's say a child molester or murderer plants a tree, and then that tree grows up and produces fruit that a family living in poverty feeds off of. Are you really going to cut that tree down in the name justice? That's not justice; that's petty revenge.
We are infected with hatred & anger.
Show the human race that we can better through love.
If you deny people who have fallen from getting up, then you are a part of the darkness.
Be a light, or soon everything will be cancelled until no life exists. There won't be anything to challenge us. There won't be anything to experience. It will all be a bland bleached emptiness with no joy or love.
Think. Have empathy. Show forgiveness.
