Bloody Violent Art

As an artist, I'm not big on censorship of media. BUT... I was on YouTube and a trailer for a new school shooting movie popped up; I was forced to wait before I could hit the skip button.
I'll try not to rant too much, but come on! The amount of violence in general audience trailers is way too much!!
Why do we even need a school shooting movie? When do we cross the line of something being art, to something being exploitative??
It's something I have discussed in my song Life Behind the Glass.
I'm no stranger to indulging in violent media, but when does it cross the line? We need a line.
When does curiosity become getting our rocks off to the pain of others? (torture porn, gore, first person shooting games, etc.)
When does exploring a subject become exploitative? (school shooting action movies, splatter films, etc.)
I think the psychology of some people can handle certain things in a healthy way, more than others. I'm not judging what kind of violent art you enjoy. I'm asking that we limit the accessibility of general audiences. Maybe the YouTube algorithm wouldn't show that trailer to other users, but I have no way of knowing.
Also, please always be assessing your reasons for experiencing violent media. I know I am an angry and addictive person that can easily disconnect from reality; so I try to have a little discussion with myself before I experience violent art - How are you feeling? What are your motives?
